The Great Dane – Gus Hansen teaches us about that crazy River – 5th Street; all the cards are out. Now what? Should you bet big with a weak hand or maybe limp in with a monster hand? And what should you do if you have a mediocre hand?
Gus tell us to make sure that whatever you do, you should always mix it up a little bit. Don’t let your opponents read your habits of always betting big on a weak hand; limping in with a great hand, and never betting on your mediocre hand. Don’t show a pattern to your betting.
We also learn about “Check Raising” and “Over Calling” in the sixth in the series of the Great Dane’s poker lessons.
I tried not showing a pattern to my betting both online and at my local tourney and I have to admit that it made a huge difference. I even won some authentic casino poker chips at one of the local games.
